Clerk |
Vote
Nov.3rd Vote Row "A"
for
Competent Honest Government |
|

|
VOTE FOR THE NON-PARTISAN ADMINISTRATION AND
EXECUTION OF THE TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE |
|
|
 |
Reduce the Town Clerk’s
annual budget by an effective rate of 10%. I
will review every budget expense line using
zero-based budgeting. I will look into
cost-saving solutions like the use of
open-source software. |
 |
Move the town’s information
infrastructure into the 21st century. The
paperless office has finally arrived in
Corporate America; I will bring it to Town Hall. |
 |
Make sure you can get as
much information about what’s going on with your
town as you are entitled to, either online or in
person, without having to disclose anything
about who you are or why you want it. |
 |
At the same time, I will
work to make sure that any information of yours
in the town files that is supposed to be
confidential stays that way. Favors to “special”
people will be prohibited and prosecuted. |
 |
Manage the Town Clerk’s
Office for the benefit of all our taxpayers. I
will do so by initiating a late night closing
into the clerk’s work week to accommodate the
needs of our working citizens. |
|
IT'S YOUR INFORMATION
The Town Clerk is the town’s Chief Information
Officer.
Montgomery needs an experienced information and
technology manager.
We can’t afford stale ideas and years of on-the-job
training. It costs too much. |
"LET ME PUT MY EXPERIENCE TO WORK FOR YOU"
Receiving, Managing and
Reporting Information has been my career for most of
my life. I have worked in journalism, and more
recently in our public schools. Currently I am an
administrator at one of the most-viewed sites on the
Internet, a site that is one of the world’s most
popular sources of information. I am eager to bring
my experience and skills to the town clerk position
in our town government. |
